Recommended Uses

Maintaining a Rolled Coat

For the best results, hand stripping should be carried out every 4–6 weeks to maintain a healthy rolled coat. A rolled coat allows new hairs to grow through continuously, creating a flatter, denser, and harsher finish while maintaining the breed’s correct coat texture.

If a coat is left for several months between grooming sessions, it can become blown. A blown coat appears longer, softer, and more open, and stripping it may result in temporary patchiness while the coat regenerates naturally
