Unlike traditional carding knives that require the groomer to maintain the correct working angle, the Coat Tender features a pre-set blade angle, helping the blade engage with the coat consistently. The flexible design follows the natural contours of the dog’s body, while the comfortable in-line handle is suitable for both left- and right-handed use.

Regular carding helps remove loose and dead coat that has reached the end of its natural growth cycle. For best results, work the Coat Tender in the direction of the natural coat growth and regularly remove collected hair from the blade.

Available in three options:

Fine – Red
A fine carding blade ideal for detailed work and finishing. It can be used after the Medium or Coarse Coat Tender to further refine the coat and is particularly useful on shorter areas.

Medium – Yellow
Designed for shorter coats with medium density and suitable for a wide variety of coat types. A versatile option for professional grooming and regular coat maintenance.

Coarse – Blue
Designed for slightly longer or denser coats, helping to efficiently remove larger amounts of loose coat and undercoat.
